Don't Trust Me

#60 - I'm a fat kid and it has been pointed out to me that the only two things I really work on are trying new restaurants and watching movies. I am okay with that. Anyways, I tried Go Bistro, had a sandwich one day and the goat cheese salad another day. Very, very Tasty. Also went to Skoopy Doo's for ice cream. Dirt without the worms...yum!

#70 - Just finished Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. It was a little hard to get into at first but turned out to be really great story, I def. reccomend that one!

Andy's Birthday!! Woo

Better Now

# 60 & 74 Again! (they are clearly the easy ones...eating and sitting around watching movies!)

On the last day of school we watched Charlie and Chocolate Factory...the creepy Depp version...i wonder if the kids were scared because I found it a bit disturbing! haha

Also on the last day of school I went on a fun little jaunt around Tremont, tryed a few new bars and beers and got lunch at Southside...Super cute/ manly place whatever you prefer to call the places in Tremont :o) I had the Tremont burger...darn good I'll tell ya!

Come As You Are

My kids' "summer penguins" art project. The last week of school is awesome!

#74 - Watched Monsters Inc.--so so cute!

#60 - Went to Otani's. Coincidentally it was half price sushi night so that worked out just perfectly. The Spider wasn't as good as Pacific East but the volcano was delish and the crab salad was a nice addition. And the dumplings were amazing...wow im a chubby kid

Sometime Around Midnight

HOW DID I FORGET!!

I was early atleast twice this week. I can't remember where I was going but I think it was with Rachel and I was super impressed by me :o) But Rachel, if you're reading this, lets forget about Saturday when I was like 2 hours late...whoopies!

AAAAANNNND!

#98 - Finish a crossword....Take that L.A. Times! Monday, May 18th had nothin on this girl!

And here is a picture of my kids I forgot to post. they are important to me and I'm gonna miss them in just 8 short days! They are the best kids a teacher could ask for, I'm lame, I know.

Did You Wrong

So its not once a week, but I'm trying...not very hard but still, I think it counts...So here are some not so fun details from my fun (in my opinion) life!

#60 - Johnny Mango's in Ohio City. Awesome chicken fried rice and sangria!

#70 - Read Stuart Little, so what if it was with my 3rd graders, I've never read it till now. AND then we watched the movie, which I had never seen, taking care of one on the old number 74! Woo.

#80- Went for a walk around the new hood, got some very cute houses around these parts...too bad as I'm writing this there are people yelling outside my window and I would very much like to punch them in the head.

#32 - Visited my family (it was for a birthday but hey, i say it counts!) got to see my adorable baby cousin, Zachary who is already 7 months old!

#57 - Those pesky details and little things aren't getting by this girl! I pick up on lots of things, just nothing I can write on here cause then you might know that I know :oP

Welp, that was boring, but I'm not concerned since I'm sure I am the only one reading it!

My Life Would Suck Without You

#24 Who would've thought it was possible! Certainly not this girl! Three whole months and no new clothing, jewelry, handbags, or shoes...woo!

#60 - I tried 2 new restaurants in two days!! 1 in Columbus, Marcellas on my hot date :o) It is an Italian place, very cute. We had the bruschetta and the Sicilian pizza and our prerequisite two bottles of wine...delicious! Walking back to the hotel was tough but I made it, safe and sound!
Restaurant number 2...Marbella's ...Spanish cuisine, I had the chileean sea bass in a banana champagne sauce, super good...I totally recommended them both!!

70. Read twenty books...1 down! I read Choke by Chuck Palahniuk, very weird but so am I so I liked it!

I tried to take pictures in a photo booth but then got distracted and never really remembered until it was too late...

ill take the cash....

so making a list of 101 things happen is kind of challenging when your school pays you with checks that are worth less than the paper they are printed on...asshats

anyways thanks to the beauty of television (of others of course, not mine) and rented movies I have seen four new movies...woo! Saw I and II made for a lovely, frightful early Saturday evening. Lisa, Jeff and I watched Smart People one night...it was alright but wasn't quite able to keep my full attention, big shocker; and the other night Lisa and I watched How To Lose a Guy In 10 Days....pretty darn funny I tell ya, perhaps I like those chick flicks more than I care to admit.....

AND since i started this post on March 13th and never actually posted it I have also seen 2 more movies! Blades of Glory and A Series of Unfortunate Events, which was pretty weird

I tried a new restaurant with Lisey...Pacific East....A-MAZ-ING and I completed good old number 91! Eating vegetarian for a week. I actually gave up meat for lent and I am pretty sure my lack of protein is what has kept me sick for the past two weeks....

For the record....

Well clearly, the list has not taken a turn for the better, but has not gone completely by the wayside...

I still do my # 96...most days ;o) To name a few things that have made the list... My roomie, Lisa; still having a job; my brother; dive bars such as Pete's; The complete series of My So Called Life; getting paid for coaching!, FINALLY getting my week late paycheck for school!
# 80 - Went for a short walk around Tremont today...that's all I'll say on here...
#87 - Is in progress I guess you could say....
#91 - One would think giving up meat for lent would make eating vegetarian for a week, easy...not so much so far....

But on another note, I have tried three new restaurants this week! (#60) And quite different they have all been! IHop....does it count? I think so... they tried to serve me meat in my plain cheese omelet though, tricky bastards.... The Chophouse, downtown..I know, not eating meat and going seems kind of crazy but I had an awesome Caesar salad with salmon (I know, me eating fish, astounding...) Finally, I had some delish mac and cheese from Lucky's Cafe in Tremont. Yums! I had it for pick up, but still counts in my mind... Does a cupcake shop count? I think it should count as a halfie... A Cookie and A Cupcake...best cupcake I have eaten in, well, forever, Check them out!

Hmm...commitment....

Wow this whole committing to something for three years...yikes..barely made it a few weeks...
Checked out some new restaurants though this week! Kallies (spelling?) a little random breakfast place, pretty good and cheap! Also had a yummy burger at Johnny's Little Bar downtown...too bad no more meet until after lent is up! :o( Except for gross school lunches when I don't even realize I'm eating meat...gross.

Weekend Update

Slow and steady wins the race

37.
Write 15 hand written notes to people I care about for no special reason (1/15)

One down and boy was that easy. I wrote to someone I really care about and didn't talk to nearly as much as I should have when she lived right across the street...look forward to hearing back from that person, soon!

74.
See 101 new movies (2/101)
Gran Torino - Clint Eastwood was amazing, was not expecting his character to be so funny!

One Week Mark!

Well folks those first two days must be the exception because productivity has declined. But I do have a few updates!

96. Everyday record one thing I am grateful for, made me laugh, or made me happy

2/8 – I’m grateful for Carolyn K. for not judging my thoughts!

2/9 – Grateful for my dad who does amazing little things for me all the time without me even realizing sometimes.

2/10 – Something that made me laugh – doing the crosswords with Lisa at midnight…‘Rigged” and “Ho-tair”

2/ 11 – Something that made me happy – spending lunch with three of my kids laughing and talking like we were best buddies for years.

2/12 – Something that made me laugh – One of my kids dancing like a madman to Single Ladies, Womanizer, Soulja Boy, Right Now…best dancer I have ever seen in person!

2/ 13 – Grateful that my professional day got canceled so now I have a four day weekend :o)

50. Be EARLY to 25 engagements (0/25)
So, I haven't actually been early, but I have been on time to two things recently, so it's a start, right?

Very Productive 2 Days!

A very productive start if I may say so myself!

18. Save $3 dollars a day ($3003)

Yesterday I set up an automatic savings account so I don't need to remember to set aside the money :o)

67. Move out

Today I moved to Cleveland Heights with my new roommie, Lisa. Kind of sad leaving the HH but, meh...I'll get over it. I missed the Cavs game because of it but I've heard the second half was defintely not worth watching. You better all be visiting in my new place!

96.
Everyday record one thing I am grateful for, made me laugh, or made me happy

2/6 – Grateful for my mom since she has been ankles deep in my laundry all day!

2/7 – Something that made me laugh – finding my old fake I.D from Portsmouth Ohio! I am also VERY grateful for my parents and everyone else who helped me move all my stuff today!

35. Join a volunteer organization

I joined Hands On Northeast Ohio, a volunteer organization that connects people with various projects in the area. I have my orientation in a few weeks so I look forward to getting out there! :o)

74.
See 101 new movies (1/101)

Saturday I saw He's Just Not That Into You with Carolyn, Toni, and Kim it actually wasn't THAT horrible and I might even say I enjoyed it. :o)

84.
Go to church 30 times (once a month) (1/30)

Tonight I went to church for the first time (other than Christmas) in a long time. No jokes about busting into flames upon entry of the church...I know some of you were thinking it. Who am I kidding? I'm probably the only one reading this... Anyways, one of the readings was from The Book of Job and he talked about the hard times of Job. The priest had a nice homily having hope and trust and that if you have those things in the end everything always works out.
